On behalf of the Lions Club of Park Orchards, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the inaugural Yarra Valley Art Show.
For many years, our annual car rally has been a cornerstone fundraising event for our club, generously supported by the community and enjoyed by participants far and wide. In 2026, the club has chosen to give that much-loved event a well-earned rest and, in its place, launch something entirely new. The Yarra Valley Art Show represents both an exciting new direction and the continuation of our commitment to supporting worthwhile causes within our local and broader community.
This inaugural Art Show will be the Lions Club of Park Orchards’ major fundraiser for 2026. The funds raised through this event will directly support the many charitable, humanitarian and community initiatives that our club proudly champions. Your attendance and support truly make a difference.
An event of this calibre is only possible through the generosity and encouragement of our sponsors and partners. The club extends its sincere thanks to all sponsors, with particular acknowledgement of the long-term and unwavering support of Warrandyte Community Bank. We are also deeply grateful to The Farm Winery for their support and for providing a magnificent setting for our first ever Art Show.
We also acknowledge and thank Gallery 247 for their invaluable guidance, expertise and advice. Their support has been instrumental in transforming an idea into a professional and inspiring art exhibition.
On a personal note, I would like to sincerely thank Ray Cross and his dedicated team for their vision, enthusiasm and hard work in taking this concept from discussion to reality. Their efforts have been outstanding.
The Opening Night Gala on Wednesday, 22nd April promises to be the highlight of the Art Show. Guests will enjoy canapés and a drink as we celebrate our talented artists and announce the prize winners.
